Open Modifications on Target Residues
Magnum provides open mass modification searches to identify novel peptide adducts of unknown mass. Additionally, these adducts can be localized on the peptide, or restricted to specific residues, allowing for open mass searches in a targeted approach. This feature of Magnum enables rapid analysis of treated samples to find, for example, protein-drug interactions from shotgun MS data analysis.
